In this program, students use the power of their voices to influence where local leaders spend their philanthropic dollars. The program culminates with an event that brings students from different schools across Boston together to network with peers and professionals in the community.

The total cost to run this program is $6,000. Our partners cover 1/3 of that cost ($2,000) and the additional 2/3 is fundraised by our organization.

Action:  A group of youth leaders is identified within two or more school communities (program sites).   Outcome:  A space is created to support youth voices and youth driven change within the partner school/organization.

Action: A group of youth leaders is identified within two or more school communities (program sites).

Action:  Each site runs nine sessions. Over the course of the program, students identify an issue that is important to them and write an elevator pitch addressing the issue.   Outcome:  Students build self-confidence and strengthen public speaking skills through pitch writing.
